Our Accommodations
Choosing the right accommodation is one of the most important aspects of a successful study abroad experience.
Your housing affects not only comfort and safety, but also your daily routine, your level of cultural immersion and even how much Italian you practice outside the classroom.
At Team Lingue – International House, we offer carefully selected accommodation options in all our destinations to suit different lifestyles, preferences and budgets.
Why accommodation matters during a language stay
Living in Italy while studying Italian is not just about attending lessons: it is about experiencing the language in everyday life.
Your accommodation becomes your base for:
- practicing Italian in real situations
- understanding local customs and routines
- feeling secure and comfortable
- maintaining energy for study
- building social connections
The right environment can transform a course into a truly immersive experience.
Availability varies by destination, season and length of stay. Our team will help you choose the most suitable option based on your preferences and budget.
Different accommodation for different needs
Homestay with an Italian host or family
It is ideal for maximum cultural immersion. You experience everyday Italian life, meals, and conversation with native speakers, gaining insight into local customs and routines. This option is particularly recommended for students who want to practice Italian outside the classroom as much as possible.
Shared apartment
This option is ideal for students who appreciate independence but seek a social environment. Living with other international students or Italian young professionals allows you to share experiences, build friendships and practice communication in a relaxed setting.
Private apartment or studio
This is best for those who prefer privacy, quiet and personal space, especially during longer stays. This option offers maximum independence and flexibility, making it ideal for mature students, professionals or couples.
Residence
Residences offer a structured living environment ideal for students. They often include private or shared rooms, communal spaces, laundry facilities and sometimes organized social activities. This option combines independence with a sense of community.
Bed & Breakfast (B&B)
B&B accommodation offers a comfortable, home-like environment with daily breakfast included. It is a good solution for students who want privacy without the responsibility of managing an apartment, while still enjoying a personal and welcoming atmosphere. B&Bs normally do not offer cooking facilities.
Hotel
Hotels provide maximum convenience and services, including reception, housekeeping and often additional facilities. This option is suitable for short stays, business travelers or students who prioritize comfort and full-service accommodation.
Carefully selected and inspected partners
All the accommodation options offered through our schools are provided by trusted partners who meet our quality standards.
Before being included in our network, each accommodation is:
- personally visited or verified
- evaluated for safety and cleanliness
- assessed for location and accessibility
- monitored through student feedback
- periodically reviewed
Our goal is to guarantee reliable, comfortable housing that supports your learning experience.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to book accommodation through the school?

However, booking through the school offers several advantages: verified quality, proximity to the school, local support, and simplified logistics.
Popular external platforms include Airbnb, Booking.com and Bed & Breakfast networks.
Is the accommodation close to the school?
We aim to place students as close as possible to the school.
Most of our accommodation options are within a 5-30 minute walk, depending on availability.
Has the accommodation been inspected?
Yes. All accommodation partners are visited, thoroughly checked, and required to satisfy our quality criteria.
Standards are monitored through regular feedback from students and ongoing cooperation with hosts.
How is accommodation assigned?
Accommodation can be requested during the course enrolment process.
A deposit is required to confirm the booking. Full details are provided on the registration page.
Is there a tourist tax to pay?
Tourist tax policies depend on the type of accommodation and local regulations.
- Homestays with families generally do not require tourist tax
- Hotels, B&Bs and apartments usually do
The tax, when applicable, is paid directly to the accommodation provider.
Do I need to pay a security deposit?
In most cases, no formal damage deposit is required.
However, students are responsible for any damage caused during their stay.
Can I change accommodation?
Changes may be possible in cases of serious problems or structural issues.
Requests based solely on personal preference cannot always be accommodated due to limited availability. Each situation is evaluated individually.
What should I do if I have a complaint?
Contact the school office immediately. You will be asked to provide details in writing so that the issue can be investigated.
Minor problems are usually resolved quickly. Formal complaints are handled in line with our internal procedures and require sufficient time for verification.
