A language is not the result of a series of grammar rules but the result of a culture, its history, its traditions and its territory. Therefore, the very best way to learn a language is to be both physically and mentally immersed in the culture of the language you want to learn. Learning Italian happens in a natural and organic way as a result.
Your study stay in Sicily will be enriched with exposure to local culture because studying while having fun is the most effective and quickest way to learn a foreign language.
The ‘Italian plus…’ programs are all taught in Italian. We recommend a minimum A1 level of Italian to participate in this program. These courses are available all year round.

Sicily boasts one of the richest and most succulent gastronomic traditions in Italy. Come and learn how to cook some of the dishes that have made Sicilian cuisine so popular around the world.
In each session you will learn how to prepare a typical starter, a traditional Sicilian main dish and a dessert. When you return home, you may just surprise your friends with a delicious Sicilian dinner!

Do you know Sicilian olive oil, Sicilian beer and Etna wines? Have you ever tried them? Over the past 30 years, Etna wines have become among the most popular wines on the Italian wine scene. Every year, investment in vineyards on and around Mount Etna increases.
If you have not tried them yet, you will be impressed by the variety of vines and wines growing and produced on Etna, from reds to whites and from sparkling to dessert wines.
In each tasting, you will try a red wine, a white wine and a dessert wine, accompanied by local gastronomic specialties.

Etna is the highest volcano in Europe so to come here and not take the time to visit the mountain would really be a crime! Mount Etna is not only about geology, it is also part of mythology, literature and cinema. Etna’s red lava flows through the veins of every citizen born in Catania, making them ‘volcanic’ by definition.
Every hike will end at sunset, an exciting spectacle seen from the slopes of the volcano!

The Ionian Sea below Taormina has beautiful seabeds and in this area especially where the seabed is lava, there are hundreds of ravines, caves, and reefs where marine fauna lives and hides.
Diving into the sea that once belonged to the God Neptune and discovering the creatures that accompanied him will be a sensational experience.
Fear not, you do not need to buy or bring any diving equipment. Just pack your swimming costume and we will take care of the rest!

The NADD EUROPE ‘Scuba Diver’ licence allows you to dive anywhere in the world, as long as you are accompanied by a professional diver.
Diving requires a great deal of caution and knowledge of techniques and the human body. If you want to go down to greater depths, you need to learn how to do it. Improvising a dive can be very dangerous.
Our team of professionals will explain everything you need to know to dive safely. And, at the end of the learning process, you will be awarded the Nadd-Europe, an internationally recognised license.

Sicily’s geographical position has always favored domination and the island has been the object of conquest by many of the great civilizations including the Phoenicians, Greeks, Carthaginians, Romans, Byzantines, Arabs, Normans, Swabians, Spanish and French. They all landed on the island and left important traces in the art of ceramic decoration.
